Who was your TV style crush growing up? After Blossom and Carrie Bradshaw, mine was, not surprisingly, Rachel Green. I know I’m not alone. Anyone else ask their stylist for “the Rachel” every time she got a new haircut or buy a pleated miniskirt and knee-high boots immediately after she wore them? To put it mildly, I was (and still am) obsessed with all things not only Rachel but also Jennifer Aniston. This infatuation has continued well after Friends ended and still does to this day, which happens to be Aniston’s 50th birthday. Yes, today she turns 50. (Please tell us your secret, Jennifer), and her style is still going strong 30 years after she first hit our screens in the ’90s.

Jennifer Aniston has proven her classic fashion prowess on and off the screen—avoiding gimmicky trends and sticking to timeless basics that still look relevant today. From spaghetti straps to square-toed shoes in the ’90s to her fail-safe jeans-tank-and-blazer outfits she swears by today. So in celebration of 30 years of chic style, we’re honing in on all those great jean outfits she’s worn over the decades—from mom jeans to bootcut denim and ’90s straight-leg jeans—all of which you could wear today. It’s safe to say nothing separates Aniston from her jeans. Scroll below for all her favorite jean looks and silhouettes—on and off the screen—from the ’90s until now.

The boot cut is by far Jennifer’s favorite silhouette.
Nothing looks chicer than knee-high boots over skinny jeans and a crisp white shirt.
How cute is the addition of socks with these cool loose-fit jeans?
Yet another great casual jean outfit, nailed.
Offset loose, ripped jeans with a smart, long overcoat.
Hiking boots are so on trend right now and look great worn with rolled-up, relaxed denim.
A smart blazer and boot-cut jeans is Jennifer’s go-to outfit.

Sporty chic.

Bella Hadid has proven time and again that she can pretty much wear anything and look cool doing it. The same doesn’t really go for all of us, though, which is why certain trends become controversial. One of the most controversial denim trends in the game is low-rise jeans. As you know, they had their heyday in the early 2000s but were later replaced by more flattering styles—i.e., high-waisted jeans. But celebs and the fashion world have been hinting at their return, and although it’s been met with some (well, a lot of) resistance, it hasn’t really hit the mainstream again.

As you know, Bella Hadid’s influence on what the world wears is pretty strong. Time will tell if it’s strong enough to make people embrace jeans that hit below their belly buttons again, but there’s no denying that she wears them well. On a side note, her sweater is a $60 Mango find. That may be an easier pill to swallow.

Keep scrolling to shop Hadid’s “controversial” look.

Calling all Zara stans, if you shop the retailer just as much as we do (i.e., a lot) then this one’s for you. You may know about Zara’s sister brands like the equally as on-trend and affordable Stradivarius and Bershka since Zara’s parent company, Inditex, owns a handful of cool Spanish brands. However, there’s a good chance you’ve never heard of another of its other sister brands, Pull&Bear, since it wasn’t sold in the U.S.—until now, that is.

Pull&Bear just launched its e-commerce in the States, so now we can finally shop the Zara-adjacent brand that our Spanish and European fashion friends already knew about for a while. We’re calling Pull&Bear the little sister to Zara because its offering skews a tad more trendy and youthful than good old Z. Soon you’ll be shopping here for fun-loving pieces like tie-dye tees, bucket hats, and all the chunky-soled shoes your heart could desire. And everything is slightly more affordable than you’d find at Zara, too, so add that to the list of reasons to check out the newest Inditex brand in town.

To get a taste of all the cool things on offer at Pull&Bear, keep reading to shop our edit and then wait patiently because we just know all the fashion girls will be wearing the brand soon enough.
